FUNCTIONAL GIFTS & HOMEWARE

We are based in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside and love nothing more than hand-making rustic handles, hooks and brackets from mild steel for you to use around your home, garage or workplace to achieve that contemporary, rustic, industrial look.

We are especially proud of our braced statement brackets which are discreetly welded to give added strength without compromising on style.  If you want something a little quirky, check out our ‘double-decker’ brackets!

TERMS & CONDITIONS

ORDERING

To request your brackets simply fill in the online order form.  Don’t worry, we dislike spam just as much as you do, so your email address and personal details will not be passed on to any third party.

You will receive an email from us within 24 hours – usually sooner – to confirm your order has been received by us and to advise of our bracket availability.

We have a number of brackets in stock at any one time but if we need to make your brackets especially for you we will notify you of our current turnaround times and request for you to confirm you are happy to join our waiting list.  Our average production time is 3 to 5 working days.

Payment is not taken until your brackets have been made and are ready for shipping.  At this point we will let you know your brackets are complete and we will email you an invoice for payment.

PAYMENT

We request payment when your brackets are ready by emailing you a PayPal invoice.  You don’t need a PayPal account to make a payment via PayPal – you can pay as a guest with your debit or credit card – but if you do have an account you can also pay with your PayPal funds.

If payment is not received in a timely manner we will email a payment reminder to you.  If payment is still not made we reserve the right to offer the brackets to the next customer on our waiting list.

Payment is required only after brackets are made by us but we may request a deposit should you require an extraordinarily large number of products.

Once payment is received your brackets will be carefully packaged and shipped and we will update you with tracking details.

DELIVERY

All shipping costs are free on all of our items although we currently only ship within the UK.  Orders under 2kg will be shipped via Royal Mail with an average delivery rate of 2-3 working days.  Orders over 2kg will be sent via a courier with an average 3-5 working day delivery rate.

Upgrades for quicker delivery options may be available – please let us know your needs prior to payment – although this is subject to bracket availability and production turnaround times.

CANCELLATIONS

Should you decide that you no longer require your brackets prior to payment or shipping please let us know as soon as possible and we will cancel your order and offer them to any waiting customers.

If you have requested a bespoke order and paid a deposit we will only be able to refund the deposit should you cancel the order prior to work commencing or if we believe we will be able to re-sell your custom sized order.

RETURNS

We want you to be delighted with your brackets but if you need to return your purchase for any reason you are more than welcome to return them at your own postage cost.  Please contact us within 14 days of receipt of the items and return them back to us within 30 days for a full refund.

The items should only be returned after first contacting us for a Returns Reference Number.  They should be packaged appropriately for the return journey and received by us in a re-saleable condition. 

Refunds for custom made bespoke orders are at our discretion only.  It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have selected suitable brackets from our product descriptions or supplied us with the correct measurements for bespoke orders.

BESPOKE ORDER REQUESTS

We cannot always accept bespoke order requests, especially during periods of high demand for our standard products.  We will always respond to enquiries to confirm this and provide a quote for your specifications if applicable.

A deposit of up to 50% may be requested on bespoke orders dependent on individual requirements.

OUR PRODUCTS

All of our products are made by hand in our workshop, not mass produced by machine.  All dimensions stated on the product descriptions are approximate to the millimetre but we endeavour to make the brackets as close as possible to those stated.

Appearance of the metal we receive from our supplier can sometimes vary slightly from the product photographs but will always be of the same quality and we will ensure your brackets are made from the same batch of metal to achieve an even appearance.

We handmake our products using raw mild steel which can be left raw for an industrial, rustic look in dry environments.  If you intend to use the products in a moist environment and wish to maintain their original appearance it is advisable to treat them with a preservative such as wax, clear lacquer or paint.

SAFETY

Customer safety is important to us and our products have been tested by us and by an independent product testing specialist. 

It is vital that brackets are installed by a competent person using the appropriate tools to a sound project surface.  It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure this is carried out safely.

It is very rewarding to us to receive messages from happy customers and lovely photos of their projects completed with our handmade brackets!

We aim to leave a smile on the face of every customer who orders products from us.  If for any reason at all you feel we haven’t succeeded in our aim please let us know so we can put things right for you.

DATA PROTECTION

The personal information you supply to us will only be used for the purposes of processing and completing your order.  We do not sell or pass on any of our customer’s details to third parties and will not share your information with any other organisation.
